The Brand Journey of Pal’s Sudden Service
The Milligan Arts Council presents an exhibit highlighting the design and advertising of one of the region’s iconic brands, Pal’s Sudden Service. Pal’s journey began in 1956 as an idea for fast, friendly service that would delight customers. Today, Pal’s Sudden Service is a fast food powerhouse that is respected worldwide. From its Warhol-inspired buildings to its award-winning ad campaigns, the exhibit will explore the brand journey of Pal’s and the work of its local ad agency partner, Creative Energy. An opening lecture will occur in the McGlothlin-Street Theatre located in the Gregory Center on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 5-6 p.m. and will be followed by an opening reception in the lobby from 6-7:30 p.m. The exhibit will be open to the public for viewing each day from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exhibit will be closed during the college’s spring break, March 2-10.
